Unhappy Problem playing movies with Beryl on. Help!

In my Fedora 7, when I enable beryl, everything is fine.

But when I play movies with totem. Nothing is displayed but a black totem. But when I move the totem window, I can randomly see the movie.
Anybody knows why?

My video card is Intel 945 series.

PS. I run gstreamer-properties and change the video output plugin to X window system(No Xv), movie can be displayed but very ugly, I can even see little squares!

Intreguing... I'd say "driver" but I am fine with intel graphics, beryl, and totem-xine (in ubuntu).

# yum install totem-xine

just as an addition to this, i had exactly the same problem with feisty, intel graphics and beryl. except it happened with other media players too (mplayer, vlc).

uninstalled totem-gstreamer, installed totem-xine and now things are fine in all players (although picture isn't great in totem).

thanks for that Simon

It was the only thing I could have been doing different.

If pictures get a bit wavy, try fiddling with the deinterlace toggle.
