problem on vsftpd on fedora core 7
I've installed the Fedora Core 7 and I want to install the ftp server. I use
yum install vsftpd
to install the vsftpd server and I started the server successfully with
/etc/init.d/vsftpd start
I also asked the service to be started each time the machine reboots by issuing command
/sbin/chkconfig vssftpd on
when I issue command "netstat -a | grep ftp" it replies
tcp 0 0 *.ftp *:* LISTEN
But when I tried to ftp from another machine using a local username/password, I got the following error,
"500 OOPS: cannot change directory:/home/username"
Login failed"
Here's is my vsftpd.conf file, can someone tells me what I need to enable there? thanks.
