Problem installing recordmydesktop_0.3.8.1+svn602-1+b1_i386.deb in CrunchBang Statler

Hey everyone,
I have tried installing this package with

sudo dpkg -i recordmydesktop_0.3.8.1+svn602-1+b1_i386.deb

and it didnt work it was saying some repositories were missing

libjack2d-0
libjack-0.116
libvorbisfile3

and I tried searching for them and installing them and couldnt find them.

Is there any way I can do this?

what is your ubuntu version?

"recordmydesktop_0.3.8.1+svn602-1+b1_i386.deb" is a Debian package.

'CrunchBang Statler' is based on a Debian version.

Maybe this command will tell : cat /etc/issue

? Why not do # apt-get install recordmydesktop
