I have been trying to install Gdesklets for the past four days, and I have not had any luck yet.
Here is my problem:
I install pyorbit 2.2.0
I then install pygtk 2.0.0
When trying to install gnome-python, here is what happens:

Have I installed pygtk correctly, this is what i did to install pygtk:

make install
I am a pretty experienced computer user as far a programming and actually using a computer goes, but fairly new in Linux, and trying to learn more about how to use it, if there are any suggestions on what i did wrong, i would appreciate it.
