problem installing dcgui

hi, im trying to install dcgui-qt-0.2.18, but when i make ./configure i get this error msg:

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.0) (headers and libraries) not
found. Please check your installation!

please help me, im a beginner at linux.

What distro are you using, and what version of KDE?

hi,

i suppose it is not finding the qt library files, you can install the Qt package from your distribution cd's, or you could get it from

http://www.trolltech.com/download/qt/x11.html

"The xml2-config script installed by LIBXML could not be found
If libxml was installed in PREFIX, make sure PREFIX/bin is in your path, or set the XML2_CONFIG environment variable to the full path to xml2-config."
How can I reach that?...

hi i am new to linux
i am using suse 10 ..... while installing dcgui i got the following error message

i then installed libxml2 using yast but still the problem persists
