Problem installing Adobe acrobat reader

Hi Guys - another noob here (sorry). I've installed Mandriva 2007 and am now having a problem installing acrobat after downloading the rpm.

The error I get is ... AdobeReader_enu-7.0.9-1.i386 (due to unsatisfied libGLU.so.1)

Any response appreciated :)

Use urpmi for Mandriva - it's a great tool. http://easyurpmi.zarb.org/ is the site, it is a great resource for help with setting it up. After that, it's a matter of saying "urpmi <package name>" and you're on your way.

Welcome to LQ :D

Hi XavierP, Yep that's exactly how I did it but I get the error message. When I set up easyurpmi I selected X86_64 architecture so I don't understand why the 386 lib is required...

Thanks for the welcome BTW ;)
