problem in updation

My name is Nataraj.Yesterday i installed Fedora Core 5 linux in my system. And to enable rpmforge i used some commands n atlast an updation command "yum -y update".
The process went good.It downloaded some files.Later it started updation. The no.of files to b updated r 590.when the
270th file is getting updated unexpectedly system got shutdown.I tried to update again then it updated 6 more files n reported as "Completed".
Wat happened to the remaining files?
Can anybody tell me?
If i want update them again how to know which is updated n which is not?

Run a:

yum clean all
yum -y update

Any remaining files will be updated. If nothing needs to be updated, then you are OK.
