problem in installing nam-1.0a11 on ubuntu 10.04

when i try to configure nam-1.0a11 in ns-2.34 i got error
hecking for init.tcl... no
checking for tclsh8.3.2... no
checking for tclsh8.3... no
checking for tclsh... /usr/bin/tclsh
configure: error: Installation of tcl seems incomplete or can't be found automatically.
Please correct the problem by telling configure where tcl is
using the argument --with-tcl=/path/to/package
(perhaps after installing it),
or the package is not required, disable it with --with-tcl=no.

Please provide solution

Why do you want to use a 12 year old version of nam ? ?
Is it about "Extended Nam Editor", ext-nam-1.0a11.gz ?

Nam Extended : The install instructions, post #2 here

# 6 .
Quote:
gzip: ext-nam.gz: not in gzip format
Then your "wget" download failed : A corrupt ext-nam.gz .

Please retry $ wget http://www.grid.unina.it/grid/Extend...oad/ext-nam.gz

Works OK here in this moment, and I get an executable "ext-nam" ,
with $ gunzip ext-nam.gz .

# 8 .

"http://www.grid.unina.it/grid/Extend...oad/ext-nam.gz" is wrong !

Must be "http://www.grid.unina.it/grid/ExtendedNamEditor/download/ext-nam.gz"

And please use wget for the download.
