Problem in install PCI driver.
Hi all,
I compiled a pci device driver and installed it using "insmod" successfully at the first time. Then, I changed the pci slot to plug my pci device, but the linux system can't boot as usual. So I plug my pci device in the slot which the pci device can install and run successfully. The pci device driver can compile successfully but when I use the "insmod" to install the driver the mistakes on the display are as following:
"code:Bad EIP value
segmentation fault"
I restalled the linux system(redhat as4,kernel:2.6.9),changed the harddisk and mainboard, and reposited the mainboard but all the efforts are failed.
Please give me a hand, thank you!

Don't quite know how to give you a hand....you don't give any information.
What PCI device? Brand/model? You compiled the driver...from what source? What kind of system? And what do you mean by "reposited the mainboard"???
Since you're using RH AS4, the first thing I'd do would be to contact RedHat support, since you're paying for it.
