Problem importing python module...cant install anything!!!
I am having a tough time trying to figure out what to do. I am running CentOS 4.4 I was trying to install an rpm package and it said it needed some dependencies so one of them was popt...something so I installed that using the force option because it complained about some things already installed...I thought it would just overwrite just fine...

Well, now whenever I try to run rpm... or any rpm/package manager thing it says this:

/usr/lib/ undefined symbol: poptSaveLong
or poptSaveInt

when I tried to run yum from the command line it says:

There was a problem importing one of the Python modules
required to run yum. The error leading to this problem was:

  /usr/lib/ undefined symbol: poptSaveLong

Please install a package which provides this module, or
verify that the module is installed correctly.

It's possible that the above module doesn't match the
current version of Python, which is:
2.3.4 (#1, Oct 11 2006, 06:18:43)
[GCC 3.4.6 20060404 (Red Hat 3.4.6-3)]

Any clues as to what I can do???
