problem getting amarok to play podcasts

I cnat get amarok (1.4.4)
to play podcastas on my suse10.2 box running KDE
i have installed teh support for MP3 and other formats

i can subscribe to the podcast RSS feed and the files appear to be downloaded,

however when i try to play them i get the following error:

No suitable input plugin. This often means that the url's protocol is not supported. Network failures are other possible causes.

i found the problem

amarok was not actually downloading the podcasts... jyust the headers.

once i set it to download the podcast everything worked.
