Problem generating a working makefile from configure:
 

Hi,

I'm new to GNU autotools and can't get configure to produce a working Makefile - it outputs a file called "Makefile" allright but the syntax of this looks very like Makefile.in... In other words I don't think configure has filled in the Makefile.in variables properly...

Any ideas why this might be happening?
