Probl. Screen res in widescreen laptop with nvidia Geforce FX 5200

Hi: I have a toshiba laptop with Ndivida FX 5200. I tried to configure the screen resolution in the /etc/X11/XF86Config but I can only reach a max of 1024 x 768, since it has a widescreen display it looks "stretched", how can I get a 1200 x 800 resolution?

Here is The XF86Config file: I'm also having problems with the touchpad which behaves randomly

# Option "XkbVariant" "nodeadkeys"

The only problem that I see here is the fact that you actually posted this thread instead of using one of the dozen other completely identical threads already in progress.

Look up in the corner of the screen. See that little button labeled "SEACH", up there, in the second row of buttons?
How about using it ato pull up the answers that have been given 10 times over, or are still being worked on, instead of reposting the same topics every month...
