probem by display through projector

I am using suse 10.1 and I can run mpeg files without any problem on my laptop's lcd screen.When I connect my laptop with projector,I could not able see on big screen.pls solve this problem.

How is the projector connected to the laptop? You may have to enable output on whichever port you've connected the projector to.

If the projector is connected to your VGA out port then you need to push FN+F9 or something like that. Read your laptop manual and it will probably tell you the keys you need to push to change to external display. Toshibas use FN+F9 I think....But other laptops will most certainly be different.
