Hey guys, i've been doing google searches, and trying to discover how to emulate Mac Applications on Linux,
What i'm trying to do is emulate the applications without the operating system, and i'm trying to emulate "Pro Logic" or "Garage Band". Is this possible? and i researched Emulating OS X and got the impression it was illegal to emulate it on a non PPC machine. Anyways though, has anyone does this? and can it be done?
There's a windows (ugh) product called "PearPC" that makes me think it's not illegal. You might want to look into VMWare if you really want to do this that badly: but beware, VMWare is a commercial product.
VMWare emulates an entire host. I don't know if it can emulate a PPC architecture, but you'd still need an operating system image for it to boot. I am not aware of any environment that provides support for the OS calls neccessary from mac os.
