Privoxy won't start on boot (Slackware)

Hello,

I'm running Slackware 10.2 and installed Privoxy. However, Privoxy won't start on boot. As a result, I have to login as root and start Privoxy manually every boot. Not a big issue, but a minor annoyance.

I've installed Privoxy on Slackware in the past and have never had this problem.

I entered

./etc/rc.d/rc.privoxy start

in /etc/rc.d/rc.local, so I have no idea why Privoxy won't start.

Both rc.privoxy and rc.local are executable.

What am I missing?

Thanks!

Is that period (at the beginning of what I've listed as code) actually in you rc.local file, or is it a typo in your post? I don't believe it should be there.

Thanks for the response.

Yes, that is a period. I'll try it without. Thanks!
