Printing in Gimp

Hi,
When I try to print in Gimp the following text is printed on the top of the page, and then the printer just feeds paper through until the cancel button is pressed.

Text:
%!PS-Adobe-3.0
%%Creator: Print plug-ing V4.3.3 - 14Jul 2002 for GIMP/Gimp-Print

The printer prints test pages etc, and images in text from openoffice.

Any ideas?

Hi, I can't help you because I have exactly the same problem with Gimp. HP 5550 prints well in other apps though.

My print driver (in Gimp) doesn't list HP 5550, and doesn't allow to configure my printer to print at the resolution it is capable to.

My distro:
Mandrake 9.0 download version
kernel 2.4.19mdk
printing with CUPS, Foomatic, hpijs
The Gimp 0.?.?.

Any ideas?

Remove the "-oraw" from the "Printing Command" in the printer setup
dialog of the GIMP - that's what the printing guru told...
