Printing image from console

Hi there!

I'd like to know if there is a nice SW or command to print an image from the console.

I need to specify the size of the printed image; shall be possible, because I want to print a lot of downloaded covers.

If rotation could be applied on the fly, only for the print, it would be even greater!

What I hope to get is something like:

$ print_programm --rotate=90 --width=180mm --height=270mm file1.png

Got my point? Good! ... so...what is it? :-)

try ghostscript ... a nice package for postscript creation!
