Printing Bar-code Labels on Zebra Printer

At our organization, we have a 16bit program running in DOS currently that prints bar-code labels to our Zebra printer. Is there a good program that would let us make custom labels for the printer?

Also, I'm going to need it to save the printed information to a file. I'm wondering whether it would be easier to program some simple program that would take the information, print it and save it.

To be sure zebra does not offer any support for non-ms systems that I know of.

Not sure if cups would but you can see.

Dosbox ought to work

Wine may run.

Last might be to run a VM.

This is the basic info.https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ub...ly/118374.html

I am currently printing barcode labels using the Zebra 2644 model. I have been using the Freebarcode font. It works ok but could do with a better software package to use.
