Printer Drivers

Assume this is the correct forum for my question. Purchased a Brother black and white printer the model number being HL-L2360dw. Went to www.openprinting.org/printers and though this model is listed there is no info on drivers and how to install. Running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.

Does this mean there are none?

thanks

This page narrows it down some more. Guess you could try the driver install tool
and see how it goes:

Do I install first and then connect the printer to the computer? OR connect the printer first and then install? I am new at this!

Thanks

It's probably best to hook up the printer first because
the installer may look for it.

First connect your printer via USB or wifi, whichever you are going to use. Then go to http://localhost:631/ in your web browser. Click Administration, then Add Printer. When it asks for username/password use root and root password. Then at the Add Printer page, see if your printer is auto-detected. If so, choose it and Continue. Type a name for printer and Continue, click on Make, choose Brother, and see if your model is there. If not pick one thats closest to the number and Add printer. Click Set Default Options, and wait about 5-10 seconds. Click on Maintenance drop-down, then click Print Test Page.
