print server CUPS installation

hi
We are using Printserver software on window 2003 server but i got bugs. so we r thinking of moving to linux print server software n i searched that CUPS is one of it.
any one help me how i can install CUPS and also if there is any other print server software for linux..

Good day

Most Linux Distro have CUPS installed on the System as default,all it would take is to read some of the documentation at www.cups.org,and configure the Server with the printers by using the interface on the Print Server, eg http://localhost:631

CUPS setup can be pretty simple and it doesnt need a high end Server to run.

Its simple to print through CUPS. But we need it as print server.
Where user has account and when they get print there account should minus the amount from there existing balance.
