Print matched patern ?


Hi,

In some point in time shell substitutes patern with list of matched values.
How do I print matched values of given patern ?

There's not enough information here to give a proper answer. You need to explain in detail exactly what you want to accomplish: what the input is and what kind of output you want. What patterns? What matched values? What applications or tools?

If its just for debugging, put

set -xv

at the top of the script (after the shebang line)
