are there any alternatives to OOo Impress or KPresenter? I would like something that is just as easy, but is lighter and faster. I'm on Arch, and both of those have to be installed using openoffice-base or koffice. anything that doesn't have to be installed as a bigger package would also be quite nice.
You could export the slides to PDF and use xpdf in fullscreen mode to scroll
through them .... of course that only works if you can do without silly moving
components or embedded noise.
Well ... you COULD do it the Linux way and create your slides using LaTeX
(mind you, that's not much sleeker than OO ;}) and a style for slides, and
output those to PS or PDF, too.
