not alot of requirements for those
don't know qmail but in terms of software
exim,and postfix only require berkeley-BD
sendmail requires berkeley-BD and Procmail
of course for added functionality you will need extra (optional)support packages
for exim :
X server, OpenLDAP, MySQL, tcpwrappers and Linux-PAM
for postfix :
PCRE, MySQL, PostgreSQL, OpenLDAP and Cyrus SASL
for sendmail :
OpenSSL, OpenLDAP, tcpwrappers, PCRE, Cyrus SASL, nph, and AFPL Ghostscript or ESP Ghostscript (for creating PDF documentation)
