I was wondering if there is a powerpoint like applaiction in linux that is not open or libre office.

There is Abiword and Gnumeric for word and excel, is there anything similar for powerpoint or am I stuck with say libreoffice?

Thanks

I've been using Softmaker Office for the last 2 years. It isn't free and runs only on 32-bit (or 64-bit multilib), but in many areas (including viewing presentations) I prefer it to libreoffice. I haven't created any presentations myself so can't comment on it.

LaTeX comes with a documentclass for presentations. It's the "beamer" class.
