power managament+acpi in gnome 2.10?

Hi,

I want to set my lcd to shut off after like 5 minutes. Is there a program in gnome to let me able to do this?

I checked the "screensavers" options and does 'blank screen' actually shut off the monitor or just make it black?

Where else are my 'acpi options' in gnome?

--edit--

btw I'm on a laptop, and I want to be able to shut off the lcd without closing the lid, because it builds up heat while the laptop is running.
