Povray in Joe's Window Manager takes xorg down

If I run Povray such that it brings up a window as it renders (+d), and if I am in Joe's Window Manager, Xorg will immediately crash to the console. No error message, just bam, I'm at the console. It has to be this exact combination for the problem to occur: Povray runs fine in every other WM I'd tried it in. Similarly, no other programs have a problem in JWM.

Has anyone else tried this combination?

Have a look at ~/.xsession-errors, /var/log/Xorg.0.log, and dmesg. See if there are some clues.

Thanks for the reply. Looked at two of the three files:

There was no ~/.xsession-errors file.

Aside from saying that jwm had a segfault, no real information. :/

This is the worst situation. Why? Because if I ask the author of JWM, I will be told it's pov-ray's fault. If I go to the pov-ray team, I will be told that it's JWM's fault.

Arg.
