postscript only is printing in magenta

When printing I can only get magenta in postscript. I am using Red Hat 8.0, and I have no clue where to begin in fixing it. All I know is that when I do a test print for postscript and when doing general printing I get everything in just magenta. I can however get black for ASCII text. I'm using an hp printer and I have ghost script 7.05 if that helps. I wish I knew what information to give.

Hehe, was in kinda of a rush and didn't think it through clearly... for some reason beyond me, the driver wasn't configured right. I ran the printer-configuration utility and found that I should have had it on black and white and color. Still only in magenta, but this may be because it low on ink.
