Postfix redirect to one user

Hi,

I have an odd (i guess it's odd) question about postfix. I need to set up a postfix box (host A) which will forward all coming mail from host B to one user - no mail will be stored locally. So i want to send all mail to user@domainA.com.

I believe approach to do this is to set up virtual_map in postfix. My virtual file is:

domainA.com domainA.com
@domainA.com user@domainA.com

When virtual_map is uncommented out and i try to send mail from host B,
the mail on host A gets stored locally (/var/mail/user) which I don't want. I want the mail to be sent to the users mailbox on exchange. Same thing when I try to use the mail command "mail -s "testing" user@domainA.com" - it gets saved locally. However, If I comment out the virtual_map and issue the mail command it goes to the user's exchange box but I break the rule of all incoming mail -> user@domainA.com.

If someone knows of a trick how to get this working, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks.

Don't bother with a virtual map, just edit your aliases file to forward all mail from one email to another on a different server..

Yes, aliases would be the best choice but how would you forward <anyusername>@domainA.com -> user@domainA.com.

The left column of aliases is for local accounts but I dont want it to be a local account since the username can be anything. Can you give me an example of what you think I should put trickykid? Thanks!
