I currently have a postfix mta set up quite satisfactory, except for one little ting:

I would like all mail to external hosts to be routed trough my isps smtp server. Is there any way to do that?

Are you referring to mail being sent to be routed thru your ISP's smtp server from your users?

Not at all. I want Postfix to send the mail trough my ISP's smtp server instead of sending it directly to the recipient.

That's exactly what I asked..

Why don't you just have your users use their own ISP's smtp to send email then? Or do you have some kind of webmail setup or something? Sending mail is usually setup on the client end, you don't have to have postfix send it to your ISP smtp server but rather just have the client used send it thru your ISP's smtp server.. why jump thru hoops when you only have to jump thru one hoop to accomplish this?

I have two reasons for wanting this.

1. I don't want internal mail to ever leave my network.

2. I do indeed have a webmail solution.

Setup your webemail to use your ISP's smtp server then.. no configuration on Postfix is necessary.

That doesn't solve problem number one.
