Postfix doesn't receive incoming emails
I run Mandrake 10.0 and Postfix was installed by default. However, Postfix on my machine does not receive incoming emails from other machines. It does send emails correctly, it does receive the email which I send to myself (to the same address on local machine), but when I send email from another machine to my machine, Postfix doesn't receive anything. There's no trace about any error in /var/log/mail/errors or /var/log/mail/warnings or /var/log/mail/info. Does anyone has any idea what it might be wrong?
Thanx in advance.

Well, I found where the problem is, but I still can't find a solution.
My machine has port 25 closed and it runs firewall. I tried to open it via DrakConf (module Security / Firewall and checking the Mail Server button) but nothing has changed, if I try telneting to my machine's port 25 from outside, it says Connection refused.
Any idea how to open port 25? Thanx in advance for any help.

Webmin
Hey man - put your config problems in the past and install webmin.
www.webmin.com
I don't even use the desktop to do anything. Even if I am locally logged in, I run webmin to admin the system...
I have 3 systems I run it on - a Mandrake 9.1, Debian 9, and RedHat 9
It is all good!

Of course.
In file /etc/postfix/main.cf I changed the line
inet_interfaces = localhost
into
inet_interfaces = $myhostname
and it restarted the postfix daemon. My guess is, that inet_interfaces = localhost is the default Mandrake choice because not many people run their computer as Mail Server and at the installation I had the option about Mail Server turned off.

Is this the same as inet_interfaces = all?

Thank you El Mago for posting the solution and thank you TBC Cosmo for telling El Mago to post the solution.
