I'm a newbie to linux setting up email for the first time. I have apache server running and working.
I found instructions for setting up postfix email here:

and I'm stuck at the section about squirrelmail midway down the page.
By doing
http://my_domain_name_/webmail I was gobsmacked to see the squirrelmail page actually worked. Problem is, it's asking for a username and password and I don't know what to put. Of course it's down to me to configure this and I've probably missed a big step somewhere but where do I do this?
