I was wondering if someone coudl confirm this to me.
I set up post fix and tried to send out and email
this is what came bakc in the queue
connect to[]: server refused to talk to me: 550 ERROR: Mail Refused - - See

Now of course this is because I do not have business class service.
This is however, leading me to beleive that I have it setup correctly since it did try to contact the server.

Was this email that you sent an email that was going to come back to you? Basically what I am trying to understand here is whether or not is you. A real test to see if your email is going out would be to try sending an email to a gmail account or something like that and see if it goes out that way. If not, then it is possible that RoadRunner is blocking outbound SMTP traffic as well.

If that is the case, then what you need to do is setup postfix to send outbound emails via a smarthost, in this case RoadRunner's SMTP host.
