Possible to run DRI applications in XGL?

I love XGL. Its great! But I would like to be able to still play my 3D games, like Penguin Racer.

Currently, all DRI is used for XGL, so nothing else gets any. How can I make it so everything gets DRI at the same time?

As far as I am aware you cannot run 3D games and use XGL at the same time.
