Possible to load apps manually, offline?

I don't have an internet connection on my 'new to me', Used HP running Fedora Red Hat.

Is it possible to load applications without having an internet connection?

If so, how so?

Thanks

What applications are you needing to launch? Or do you mean install?

I believe you just want to use rpm -i filename to install. I don't use rpm based distros though, so check the man page for rpm for the correct switches.

You need to point the yum repository list at the DVD / CD.
There are some threads on LQ about this if you use the search option.
Don't just use rpm directly, as this doesn't take care of dependencies.
