Get firestarter.

It's a program that lets you manage your IPTABLES firewalls easily and with a nice interface

http://firestarter.sourceforge.net/

wow great find. i might just reactivate my iptables on my RH9 box now that i can use a GUI to controll them.

still way to new to CLI to deal with iptables via CLI.

im behind a NAT router so have not mucked much with the power of the linux firewall iptables yet, but am more then interested in getting into that portion of linux.
