port redirection for squid
Folks,
We have a LAN under Redhat 9.0 server with squid enabled as proxy, and now I wanna make a backup server exactly the same the one I mentioned, unfortunately the guy who made the first one did not leave any doc, I managed to make everything runs including the squid, the server's 2 ethernet cards' configuration is also OK, the server now is ready for internet access. However, all of my client machines in the LAN cannot access the internet, even I reconfigure each client's browser correctly? It seems I have to redirect the 80 port to 3128, how to do that in my new server? In other words, after start squid successfully, what else should I do for the whole LAN under proxy working properly? Thx, HTM |
