Plus (+) Symbol support in Dovecot/Postfix?

Hello all,

I was playing with my Gmail account, and I was wondering, on my mail server, I am running Dovecot IMAP and Postfix, and is there a way to get it to recognize the plus symbol like Gmail?

In other words, if my email address is tbeehler+shopping@domain.com, if I put that in, could/would Dovecot/Postfix recognize it?

It's not critical of course, I was just curious.

Thanks in advance!

Set the recipient_delimiter parameter in main.cf. See: http://www.postfix.org/postconf.5.ht...ient_delimiter.
