Please Recommend An Audacity-Like Program for Video

Hi,

I've tried audacity for recording, editing and burning audio to CD, and I am happy with it.

Can you recommend an application for doing the same with video, editing recorded video then burning to DVD?

Thanks!

Pitivi is a nice simple, easy to use video editor. Read more about it here: http://www.pitivi.org/wiki/Main_Page (check out the screenshots). You can burn the exported result to dvd using your regular burning software.

You can also try kino and lives. I'm sure you can use k3b to burn things as I don't know of a video editing program that also burns disks. I think every program should have one job and do it well, not 1000 jobs and do them poorly, I think most program designers agree.
