please help: Merging partitions

I have now three partitions on my HardDrive

1> FreeSpace
2> Linux Primary
3> Linux Logic

I would like to merge the free space in with the primary, can this be done? Im somewhat familure with cfdisk but too scared to destroy my linux partition to mess around much, and as far as fdisk go's im complet noob, please help someone. please

Use gparted (it's a GUI a bit like Partition Magic) - preferably from a liveCD.
Handles his easily. Can be done manually, but can get messy.
