Please help - Can't get selection cursor to show up in Konqueror...
This will probably come across as a very trivial problem, and I'm sure the solution is most likely something very obvious, but I've tried everything I can think of (including resetting all of the Appearance options under KControl and Konqueror's options to their default settings), and it's become absolutely maddening when I'm trying to select a large number of non-adjacent files/folders.
When using the tree view mode, as I press <Up> and <Down> on the keyboard, I can't see where the cursor is (not the mouse cursor, but the selection cursor, if that's what it's called-- the dotted outline that should appear around the file or folder that it's currently "hovering" over). (Sorry, I'm not sure if I'm explaining this well.) When I press <Space>, I can tell where it is because the selected file/folder becomes highlighted. Any help at all with this would be greatly appreciated. I really like Konqueror, but this issue pretty much shatters its usability for me. I hate the thought of using a different file manager just because I can't fix what's probably a very simple problem. |
Nevermind, I got it working. In case anyone else has this problem, I just reset the mouse settings to default under KControl.
