Playing video files are screwy once in a while?

Every so often I will open up a mpg, avi, or wmv with xine and the video is really blocky or just a plain green with no video. What could cause this, old codecs or something? Maybe a setting in xine needs adjusted or something? Thanks.

You can try if it are old drivers by getting the drivers package from the mplayer site. Xine and mplayer use the same so if there's an update in there it might help.
