Playing an internet radio stream from a ssh connection

To play an internet radio stream from the desktop, all I do is:

realplay http://Name_of_Radio_station.com/live/listen.ram

But how do I play this:
1. Without a GUI, if possbile
2. Using just the commandline, if possible
3. Via a ssh login to the same desktop

I realize that the audio will still play at my original desktop.
That is exactly what I want.
