player with equalizer

i use XMMS but the equalizer is not good i think
It introduces a lot of noise and it does not work on flac files (which i use a lot for backing up cds)
Does anybody knows another player with an equalizer?

Try the various plugins for audio.
I dont use the xmms eq either but I do use the various plugins and tweak it just right. It sounds great.
I prefer a better sounding player without bloat but thats far off.
