Talking Pimp my window manager.

I am running the latest version of Fluxbox on Gentoo and wanted to add some additional features to the window manager. I noticed some fluxbox screenshots show system statistics blended into the desktop wallpaper (eg. drive icons with size stats, tail output from system logs.) What application is this or is it a feature in fluxbox I can enable? I tried scouring the fluxbox site but couldn't find any mention of such a feature. Is this a window manager independent feature and where can I find it?

Your probably talking about adesklets. I use them, they're really nice.

Here's one of my screenshots using Gentoo, Fluxbox, and aDesklets.

adesklets are good, conky is another good app. gkrellm is also popular but not my cup of tea. root-tail is nice for displaying logs without too much overhead.
