Exclamation Pidgin,Yahoo chat room problem, HELP Please

I am still new to the Linux world, but this is causing me major headaches. When working from home, myself and some coworkers have decided to use yahoo chat rooms for sharing ideas etc.... I can connect to the room, but I can only see the person that invited me. I can see everyone else in the room, but they cannot see me or what I type.

If I cant find a solution to this problem, I will have to go back to that "other" OS which I dont want to do!

Any help or ideas?

You might try gyachi rather than pidgin.
