Pidgin no longer works with AIM protocol.

Since about Friday, my wife has been trying to get onto Pidgin and AOL, but to no avail. She decided to tell me today. First thing I decide to check is aim express. I'm able to log onto this, and everything seems fine from that standpoint, but when trying to connect with pidgin, I'm getting connection refused errors.

I'm not using any firewall (as far as I know, Slack doesn't enable one by default). Nothing has changed in my system since then, so I'm not sure what it could be.

Hmm...fixed the problem, but I'm not sure what happened. I had to open the port in the router. I didn't have to do this before...?
