Pidgin crash

Running Ubuntu 9.04
Pidgin likes to crash when I accept file transfers from buddies.
Normal? Or am I broken?

You could start pidgin from a terminal and look at the messages when it crashes.

I'm not sure how Pidgin handles the file transfers, but my guess is that they might depend on the messaging protocol you use, so you might want to add the protocol you used to your post (for example MSN).

Of course it shouldn't crash (or then the developers are crooked), but it's another story if it's already spotted or not---did you check pidgin.im for filed bugs that sound like your case?
