Talking Picasa in Wine - Can't print

When I try to print from Picasa I get an error message saying I have to install Printer. I can't find anywhere within the Picasa where I can choose my CUPS printer.

Thanks for the help.

Why are you running Picasa in wine? There is a Linux version of Picasa... (though it does use a custom Wine build internally)

Cool PIcasa problems....

Had more problems with that version. Could not share photos, keyword them nor connect to the web album. The pure WINE verion runs more stable and works perfectly execpt from the printing isssue.

ymsetjenesta, I'm having the same problem. Did you get it sorted out?

My printer, a USB connected Canon Pixma ip4000r, works in Feisty, but not in Picasa under Wine. When I hit the Picasa print button I get a dialog with the message, "A printer must be installed in order to print." and an "OK" button.

I'm using Windows Picasa installed in Wine, not the Linux version of Picasa.
