phpmyadmin mysql auth problems

setup script that comes with phpmyadmin is creating config files in config directory (subdir of phpmyadmin). the config.inc.php needs to be in phpadmin root directory not in config subd. using config authentication method. was getting failed to authenticate message in broweser when trying to open phpmyadmin index. root login with password.

solution: copy config.inc.php from config to phpmyadmin directory

mysql5.0 php5
